Love this fridge, but the ice maker stopped working.

We love this refrigerator! The middle drawer temperature can be changed between freezer and various refrigerated temperatures. The handles on the drawers are built in so there is no issues of them coming unattached or running into them. The space inside accommodates many items. Our only issue is after owning for a year and a half the ice maker stopped working. We have replaced the filters and tried various things in hopes that it would work again. We have now put in a call for a technician to come take a look.

The refrigerator is working well. Everyone in the family loves it. I was a little skeptical of the drawer, but it has become a very useful feature. Still trying to arrange the shelves in the door and the fridge so that a bottle can stand upright. Top shelf cannot be lowered. It is a bit loud filling the water tank and the ice maker. Overall a good product. Our last Frigidaire lasted 20 years. Hope this one does too.

This refrigerator is really nice and spacious it has a lot of small compartments. I wish the shelves were a little bigger and they are short. I love the fact that it is smudge proof with all the little fingers we have touching it all the time it's good not to have to wipe it down because of the prints. This is most important feature to me.

I love everything about this unit. The 60/40 door size of s awesome. The shelving feels so sturdy and durable. I love tue second drawer that can either be used as a freezer and r just cold option. We chose to use as a freezer and store extra ice in the tray. The bigger bottom portion of freezer is quite adequate in size. I also love the smudge proof exterior, I just wipe it with a damp cloth. I would highly recommend this refrigerator, First time with a Frigidaire, but would definitely buy another.

Water and Ice Dispenser Not Working Out of the Box

Very disappointed since my fridge was delivered 13 Nov and the water and ice maker are not working correctly. Water spewing inside fridge when water dispenser is pressed and six ice cubes in 12 hours. Contractor was sent out on 19 Nov. Was hoping something simple but it turns out there™€™s an issue internally. I would understand having issues with an older fridge, but this happened brand new out of the box. A fridge I payed thousands for should not have to be taken apart and have parts replaced when an issue arised on delivery day and not a simple fix. The fridge should be replaced.

Icemaker leaks... a lot!

The icemaker auger and the area around it frost over every couple of days and water leaks out of the dispenser, fills the indented handles for the middle and freezer doors, then drips down the fridge and onto the floor. It started happening when the fridge was 6 months old. The first time it happened I cleaned up the mess, thawed the auger, and called for service. The technician said he couldn't tell what was wrong because I had cleaned up, and that next time I should just put some towels down and call again. It didn't happen again for a few months, and by then I had my husband in home hospice and water on the kitchen floor was the least of my problems. It started happening more frequently right around the time the fridge was a year old. My husband died and I had more time to devote to this disappointment of an appliance, but it was out of warranty. My fault and my problem, I get that. But the bottom line is this expensive appliance is 18 months old and leaks water onto the floor every couple of days. As of today I have turned off the icemaker completely. I regret this purchase so much.
